Nacht Collectief x Oaktree – Woodscape

Gevoelige, electronische muziek van Adriaan de Roover van Oaktree in combinatie met de visuele concepten van Nacht Collectief levert een adembenemende clip op. Wat zou ik dit graag op m’n slaapkamermuur hebben in plaats van die lelijke glow in the dark sterren.

Oaktree & Avondlicht (beide uit Antwerpen) brengen op 4 februari aanstaande hun EP Amalgamation uit. Ik was al een beetje verliefd op Oaktree, maar deze combinatie maakt me echt nieuwsgierig! Zodra de vrouwelijke vocalen bij ‘I Still Feel’ starten, smelt ik helemaal. Tot er een mooie clip beschikbaar is, zullen we het moeten doen met Soundcloud.

Maybe I should swap the living room concerts for bed room concerts. Today I’ve discovered this dreamy music of Norwegian Tarjei Ekelund. Hopefully more of this will follow. 

Since I am so bad at describing music styles etc. I just took this text of their website: ‘Intertwine is a Norwegian electronic / ambient act. Layers of dreamy vocal and trumpets, recorded in various bedrooms around the world, blend with crisp drum machines and funky basslines, weaving a nordic, melancholic and catchy pop.’

The band consists of Tarjei Ekelund (voc / keys), Aleksander Berg (bass) , Ruben Nesse (drums)
